Keep American Families Together (Parole-in-Place)
Overview:
This order allows certain undocumented spouses and step-children of U.S. citizens who entered the U.S. without a visa over ten years before June 17, 2024, to apply for parole in place – and then a green card – without leaving the U.S.
Eligibility:
1. Married to a U.S. citizen
2. Lived in the U.S. for at least 10 years before June 17, 2024
3. Entered without a visa
4. Clean criminal history and not a national security or safety risk
5. Eligible to apply for a green card.
6. Demonstrate deserving relief under USCIS discretion.
Easing the Visa Process for College Graduates
Overview:
This order speeds up the work visa and waiver process for college graduates who have U.S. college degrees and job offers in their degree field.
Eligibility:
1. Graduated from an accredited U.S. college/university.
2. Job offer in a field related to your degree.
3. Apply for a 212(d)(3) waiver through a consulate overseas.
4. Waiver approval from the consulate and CBP.
5. Eligible for a nonimmigrant visa.
