Levi is passionate about representing immigrants and guiding them through the immigration system. He has represented immigrants at the USCIS, Department of State and also defends immigrants in removal proceedings in immigration court.
Levi knows firsthand the impact legal status has on people’s lives, as he has family members who have immigrated. Levi’s expertise is focused on family immigration, citizenship, hardship waivers, asylum cases, crime victim visas, and athlete and performer visas. Levi also works with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights on pro bono asylum representation.
Levi’s prior experience includes a judicial clerkship with the Douglas County Courthouse in Illinois, and an overseas internship in Brussels, Belgium with the State of Illinois Western European Office of Trade and Investment. He received his law degree and a Master’s degree in European Union Studies from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a member of the California State Bar, and has worked for the Law Office of Amie Miller since 2015.
